This was The Year of THE Virus. A tiny thing of 60 to 140 na-nometres in diameter called SARS-CoV-2 paralised the whole world. A nanometre is one billionth of a metre (0.000000001 m)! Worldwide travel and tourism came to a complete still stand. Nobody did expect something like this could ever happen. Especially nobody in the tourism sector. Jui's Swiss Trips & Homestay did bet farewell to the last tour group on 2020, January 4th. Since then we did not see any traveller from other parts of the world anymore. Meanwhile a year is over and there are still no guests coming. Our overnight stays did drop by 86%. Only during summer and early autumn some guests from Switzerland and a few from other European contries did visit Jui's Homestay. We could not run any of Jui's Swiss Trips' tours. |
